The Hall has a wide range of meeting rooms:

 

All are fully wheelchair accessible and with access to kitchen and toilet facilities. There is also a Hearing Loop installed in the Main Hall and the Henry Johnston Room

 

There are 2 Disabled Parking spaces directly adjacent to the Hall, in Church Street

 

Baby Changing facilities are available in the Main Foyer toilets

 

The Main Hall is licensed for Public Entertainment purposes for up to 240 persons.

 

The following additional facilities/resources are also in place:

 

Large supply of chairs and tables

Two fully equipped kitchens (one with large commercial cooker & catering toaster)

Abundant quantities of crockery, glassware and cutlery

8 Networked Computers

Printers & Scanners

Broadband Internet Access

OHP and portable screen

Two multimedia projectors and screens

Television/Video & Audio

Modular Portable Stage, with steps & safety rails

Lighting & PA System

Childrens Play Equipment and musical instruments

  

Rooms can be hired for a variety of uses,

from as little as seven pounds per hour.

Main Hall

The Main Hall can be used as one large space, for many kinds of event.

 

It is equipped with sound and lighting systems and a Hearing Loop

Half Hall A & B

 

The main hall can also be divided into two halves (Hall A and Hall B), by   

    means of a rigid, sound and light-proof, folding screen.  

    Each half is served by kitchen and disabled toilet facilities 

    and  each has separate accessible entrances  

 

Henry Johnston Meeting Room

The most recent extension to the building, close to the Church Street entrance, includes the Hall Office and the comfortable Henry Johnston Meeting Room, easily seating fifteen people, and suitable for a variety of uses.

 

It has facilities for 10 networked computers and a ceiling-mounted connection for the multi-media projector, with a wall screen.   The room has window blinds.  It is also fitted with a Hearing Loop system.

 

 

Gallery Computer Room

The first floor Gallery IT Suite is equipped with 8 networked computers connected to broadband, and is fully accessible by a wheelchair lift.   It also has a ceiling-mounted multimedia projector and pull down wall screen.

 

This room is available for meetings as well as IT use.
